Riyadh is a large mixed-use hub, consisting of villas and apartments as well as commercial properties, malls, restaurants, schools, clinics, hospitals and parks. It is a buzzing area with high-end amenities, so its residents can lead a comfortable lifestyle. Villas are available in different configurations, most with five bedrooms and more. These come with a large complex, terrace and a majlis with bedroom, kitchen and living areas. Buildings in the community also come with on-ground or basement parking. Riyadh's two skyscrapers serve as easy orientation points: Faisaliah Tower is towards Olaya's southern end, while Kingdom Center is at the northern end. Both are located between the parallel route of King Fahd Road and Olaya Road, which is Riyadh's main upscale shopping strip. The locality has temples, mosques, churches, Gurudwara, health care, beaches, supermarkets, etc. within reach.
Transportation includes by plane, train, bus and car. Riyadh's King Khalid Airport is located a few km north of the city. The train station is in the middle of the city with seven trains to Dammam daily in each direction. The Central Bus Terminal is located about 17 km south of the Aziziyah District of the city centre. The east-west road through Riyadh is Highway 40 from Dammam and other road links from Bahrain to Khobar lead to the north of the state.
