About Sharjah

Sharjah is the third-most populous metropolis in the United Arab Emirates after Dubai and Abu Dhabi to form part of the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. It is the capital of the Emirate of Sharjah.

The city is a centre of culture and industry.  The Al Qasba community along its waterfront has many apartments, shops and tourist attractions. This is an architecturally designed two-storey family home. It is built around a shady courtyard. Several rooms display traditional furniture as well as household items. Apart from this, there are provisions for children's dresses, games and jewellery. The town of Sharjah overlooks the Persian Gulf. It consists of the main administrative and commercial centers with a range of cultural and traditional projects, including several museums covering such areas as archaeology, natural history, science, art, heritage, Islamic art and culture.

Amenities like Malls, restaurants, hotels, museums, etc nearby. Its Islamic-influenced architecture overlooking the sightshase made it a tourist destination but the real value of the institution lies in its commitment to giving world-class education. It is understood for its Arabic and Islamic architecture, in addition to its libraries, Islamic museums and cultural centers. The city is known as the cultural and literary centre of the United Arab Emirates.

Sharjah International Airport is the hub of the city. Sharjah has two major chains of highways, which are "E" and "S".  E represents roads connecting other emirates and S for roads within the emirate. Taxis are included in all parts of the emirate and cities, including shopping centers, residential areas and airports. Sharjah Public Transport Corporation passenger buses are covering the entire city.
