Top to bottom, the master plan of 1Wood Residence 2 is designed around the integration of the mixed use. For such the commercial at the ground level will activate the edge of the street, creating a natural buffer between the public streetscape and private residential floors above. The skyscrapers are separated by vertical zoning, with commercial, shared amenity and housing spaces, where each represented by separate volumes but connected and unified by their architecture. Podium level areas are landscaped to bring into the city social areas away from pedestrian circulation levels and offer amenity and privacy for the residents whilst still making rest areas of the building accessible.
