Aristo at Dubai South is a boutique residential development, presenting a modern design façade by OKSA Developer with studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments. The building's scale itself as luxury design G+4-storey façade, cascading via the continuous white ribbon balconies that wrap the exterior in an unbroken oscillating curvilinear fold. With each floor plate more or less bent out, then back in to create a sense of a single sculpted gesture rather than a stacked block of apartment units. Timber-toned light-coloured balustrades provide visual unity to each terrace, whose timber soffits reflect warm light at dusk. The bubbling white simplicity forms a canopy over ground to frame the lobby's arrival prior to the opening doors into a considered, interior world, one that will be distinct from the still coalescing streetscape of Dubai South.
The architecture is created at the ground level with unbroken to the roof level, where the same ribbon balconies climb up and through four residential floors to open onto a totally landscaped amenity deck. The design of the facade is simple, rendered in crisp white and highlighted with linear recessed lighting at night, functioning as a series of pure shapes instead of ornament. Almost all levels take views to the outside, behind the full-height glazing that not only extends living spaces outwards but also highlights views outside of the low-rise fabric of the South. Internally the building is eased around a central circulation core with short distances required for residents to move from lift lobby to front door. As such the ground podium level and the basement accommodate the resident parking, leaving the ground level free for complete a spacious, double height lobby.
Upon entering the façade, the colour contrasts inside changes from the white exterior shape to a more palpitating interior order. There is a darkened band of stone that runs across a loop above the dark veined stone floor throughout the lobby and feature walls of veined marble. A chandelier in the shape of crystals hangs from an oval opening in the ceiling above a raised planter, and a gold-plated reception desk is located below illuminated branding of the its name. Rounded furniture is set around low tables, dressed in soft brown upholstery, which conjure up the relaxed vibe of a well-thought-out home, rather than the transitory taste of a transactional space.
After all, the signature developer aims to work around innovative design and highest building quality in the fastest growing districts. Rooftop philosophy is echoed in Dubai South, where an infinity pool sprawls across sun-splashed decking, an indoor gym, open-air cinema, an enclosed cricket pitch, a landscaped yoga terrace offering the open sky that swaps out the noise of the city, and a dedicated children's play zone. Set in the vicinity of Al Maktoum International Airport and Expo City, and surrounded by its own roof top cocktail bar, pool and greenery. Plus, a loyal rooftop that overlooks the skyscrapers, it offers a space designed with a generation of buyers who are attracted by the dynamics of the city, held up by its own architecture.
